BUYER GUIDE
How to Compare Eyewear Quotations
Two quotations are only comparable when they describe the same product, quantity, packaging and delivery scope.
Confirm the same product scope
Check the exact model, reference, material, dimensions and color assumptions used by each quotation. Similar images do not prove that the specifications are the same.
Compare the quantity basis
Record the quoted quantity, whether mixed models or colors are allowed and whether the quantity is per model, per color or for the full order.
Normalize packing and delivery
Ask what is included in packing, accessories, carton assumptions, trade terms, destination and delivery timing. A lower product figure can be less useful when the commercial scope is different.
Review sample and production assumptions
Clarify whether the quotation is for a sample, a trial order or production. Check how sample fees, approval steps and any later production order are handled.
Keep one written comparison
Use the same checklist for every supplier. Record what is confirmed, what is estimated and which questions remain open.
Confirm details before deciding
A quotation is a commercial starting point. Confirm product availability, specification, price validity, packing, delivery and after-sales terms in writing before relying on it.

Questions to review
Why can two eyewear quotations differ?
The difference may come from product specification, material, color, quantity, packing, sample scope, trade terms, destination or delivery assumptions.
Should I compare only the unit price?
A unit price alone can hide important differences in scope. Compare the product definition and the full commercial basis before making a decision.
